TGP500 series gets Digium Asterisk certification from Panasonic
Panasonic declared the Digium Asterisk certification for its latest TGP500 series SIP DECT-based cordless phone system. It is one of the exceptional High Definition audio phones that are designed for home as well as enterprise consumer market. These handsets contain wideband audio via its G.722 codec support. Users need a SIP trunking service provider in order to use it at home so that it supports G.722 to get HD voice quality.

KX-TGP500: This system comes with a wall-mountable base unit along with one cordless handset. It can be expanded up to 6 DECT 6.0 cordless handsets and supports maximum of 8 phone numbers as well as 3 simultaneous calls. It shows off Wide Band Audio (G.722) and 5 hours Talk Time with 10 days Standby time. It comes with an elegant design that features a white backlit large LCD display on the handset. It also has a Handset locator button situated on the base unit. Moreover, it also highlights handset speakerphone, belt clip and 2.5mm headset jack.
KX-TGP550: The KX-TGP550 comes with all the features and benefits offered by KX-TGP500 and add some unique feature to it. It comes with a corded base unit that has a large white backlit LCD, 5 hours Talk Time and 10 days Standby time. Additionally, it has a Handset Call Button on the base unit, one-touch call transfer and Hands-Free Speaker phone.
KX-TPA50: The KX-TPA50 cordless handset expands the TGP500 systems to a total of 6 cordless handsets.
